SAN DIEGO, California, June 2026 – Collective42 was proud to participate in the 2026 PMP Warrior Golf Tournament and Matt Youmans Memorial Benefiting SOMBFAB, held Monday, May 18, at Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan.
This marked the third consecutive year that Collective42 co-founders Steve Peron and Ricardo attended the annual charity tournament on behalf of the San Diego digital marketing and web development agency.
PMP Warrior is a nonprofit organization started by Matt Youmans to educate the public about Pseudomyxoma Peritonei, a rare form of cancer. The organization partners with SOMBFAB, which stands for Some of My Best Friends Are Bald, to raise awareness and provide support for adolescents and families affected by cancer.
SOMBFAB is a San Diego peer support group for adolescents who have or have had cancer, as well as their teenage siblings. The program is part of the Peckham Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Rady Children’s Hospital and provides a safe, supportive environment where teens can connect with others who understand their experiences.
Steve and Ricardo spent the day participating in the golf tournament while also supporting the event’s silent auction, raffle and other fundraising activities.
“The PMP Warrior Golf Tournament is something Ricardo and I genuinely look forward to each year,” said Steve Peron, co-founder of Collective42. “It is always a fun and memorable event, but more importantly, it gives us an opportunity to support organizations that are helping individuals and families affected by cancer throughout the San Diego community.”
The tournament included a putting contest, on-course games, an awards dinner and prizes for several team and individual competitions. The event brought together golfers, local businesses, sponsors and community supporters for a full day of fundraising and camaraderie.
Collective42 thanks the event organizers, volunteers, sponsors and fellow participants who helped make the 2026 tournament possible. After participating for three consecutive years, the Collective42 team is already looking forward to returning in 2027.
